What a wonderful world.
It's been raining these past few days. We even had a cyclone warning, it never showed up. Yesterday....Was brilliant, sitting on the balcony wall of a friend, enjoying the smell of freshly rained-on mud and watching the thoughts whizz through my head while everyone else played PS ganes indoors. Splashing around in the pool, trying to remember swimming classes taken aeons ago. Movie marathon and pizza, cuddled up to myself in a sofa.
And I'm contented again. The day before yesterday seems so long ago.

Mystique,
Make the best of time you have.
Take care
I'm glad you had a nice time. :)
Ah Louis Armstrong's ! One of the sunniest happiest songs I've ever heard :D
I can imagine myself sitting on an armchair, with an open book in one hand, a mug of hot tea/chocolate on the table near by, with my thoughts wandering off to the sky..

The smell of first rain on the earth... I SO miss that scent. It just does not rain in Victoria; and if it does, it's like a little boy pissing on the ground. Over in 2 minutes and not enough to wet the earth enough to unlock her scent. Sigh. Nice post.
there are few things as amazing to me in this world as rain, and more so fresh rain on dry earth and the smells and feeling in the air from just before it hits onward.. sigh, i miss good rainfall..
Your last line - And I'm contented again. The day before yesterday seems so long ago. - It reminded me of a line Im very fond of:
"Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have only today and Im going to be happy in it."
- Groucho Marx
