I wonder why they say that peer pressure drives one to smoke....If I ever started, it'd be when I was alone, out of the loneliness of my soul. To try and fill the gaping hole.

I haven't bothered trying, because I know it wouldn't help.

dunno how i came across this blog...

but cigarettes aren't there to fill voids, there just to lighten you up..

momentary nirvana... life's sucks again... void (if ever filled) holefies again..

but still i would advise against it.. it's a expensive habbit that become more expensive when u get cancer.. plus a lot of ppl nagging at u to let it go, and even more running away coz of ur breath..

and yeah.. ppl do start alone... unless there's peer pressure (the main reason most pick it up)

Mystique,

Please just don't. I was a heavy smoker for almost 10 years, gave it up but after almost 5 yrs restarted under so called social norms in a party and again smoked lightly for about 2 years. Now it is more than 28 years since I gave up. It serves no fruitful purpose at all. Light drinking is rather beneficial than smoking even very lightly.

Take care
