In waiting.

Holidays begin day after tomorrow.
stupid measly two-week winter breaks we get.....just because we're senior n stuff.....it's not like we study so much........
anyway, tomorrow will be the last day the 12th graders come to school so everyone's going crazy nostalgic, flashbulbs erupting in the corridoors, hugs kisses screams squeals of delight.........
i'm gonna miss you so much, etc etc.....
etc etc......
and then there's me wandering through the mess, a year and a grade below them, wanting to be a part of it (as of everything else) but so left out......
why oh why won't you look at me........its your last day here.........say bye...gimme a hug na?
sigh.
and then you'll all be lost to me forever....
maybe even kay......she looks so troubled these days.....dunno what it is....she'll tell me when she feels like it.
anyway....i had more to write....but i have to go........

I've always kept losing friends that way... It's tough keepin in touch with others, especially other batches.

Hell, it's tough keeping in touch with kids on my own class... most people are too busy doin stuff with friends closer to home that they tend to forget about the people who live further away. Geographically and metaphorically. :(

dont be too haste to be on their shoes - you have got one more year to enjoy :) i still cant say how much i miss my schools and colleges. the last day - it is always the most emotional one... The farewell our juniors gave us during our MCA - man, it was so really touching that there was not even a single girl or guy who didnt had moist eyes... Are you guys giving your seniors a farewell?

Don't even mention Orkut being helpful. Well, actually, it is, but it has way too many other bugging features that I certainly could do without. Facebook is much more decent, but not a lot of Asian people are on it.

As for nostalgia and losing friends, relax, just go through the withdrawal lol.

Not to mention new-agey spiritual advice like "friends will always be in your heart" or "you are your own best friend" or "novelty is the key of peace, prosperity and stability". Man if I write a book it'll probably sell more than Peale's does.

I got bugged with orkut when people started having entire realtime conversations online. With 3 perfectly serviceable messengers, I still don't get why the people insist on using scraps. That to on a place as public as orkut!
