Dance dance, we're falling apart...lalaalaa

Zing-boom-swirl.......
Shit my head's swirling, i so need a break and the music's so loud...
but what the hell!!
So with much persuasion i reached the dandiya grounds at 10 pm, only to find the garba still on, and I canNOT dance garba for nuts.
so what does one do...?
One socializes, and that's what i did.
went hunting for various people, found them, talked, complimented, recieved compliments......
Met an old friend who, surprisingly deigned to talk to me properly (didn't think he would, he'd just seen my obnoxious bitchy side, but there you go) and i'm glad he did.....
Met kay roaming around with her various micelles (more about her later)....
Met, oh, lots of people.......
And FINALLY the dandiya starts and we're dancing...and next to us, the hotguyz are dancing like the total maniacs that they are.....
lol lol
Dance dance dance, clack boom swirl ouch! (i tend to be rather destructive with the sticks)
Damn it was fun, that's all i can say..........
and then they took a break, and after the break i looked up hotguy1 (the one who's my friend) and danced with him for a while, before he ended up ditching me for the girl i was dancing with before (edit: not kay!)....(there i KNEW they had something going)
and danced with her for quite a long time.
while i? i stood, with my dizziness, waiting for the world to stop spinning......
dyamnn
Ah well all good things must come to an end, and this did when mom suddenly materialized in the middle of the crowd to drag me home.
sigh.
As prophecied, i had dandiya dreams.
beautiful ones.
Now i need them to come true.....

I love dandiya. I used to go to the Sardar Patel one, even though I never studied there. Oh and I'd run into tons of people I knew, and had dated in ages past, all of who didn't go to Sardar Patel either.

hey, like the blog, looks great and love the mysterious profile youve created.
not much for socialising and dandiya parties myself, but to each his/her own as makes them happy..
admitedly though, its nice to read a happy and more upbeat blog for a change - too many of us dwell too much on the things that are hard to face and dont always remember to step back and appreciate the little things. thanks..
cheers...

lol......love teh blog .....you just have the greatest writing flow .....too bad about the hot guy .....you should have tried and talked to teh other one though .....we went for dandiya last year in garden of five senses .... apart from teh fact that my friend who promised to teach me kept banging the bloody sticks with my fingers and my eardrums were sensitive to loud noises over the next few days ..... it was great fun .... yeah .... some guys were totally so cute but well .... had a girl adjoined to teh hip and the others were those roadside romeos type .....

renovatio: ah. awkward.

the dude : i didn't create the template! and yea there is too much negativity in the world....

buttrfly: it is just these past two years that i've mastered the sticks...........and dandiya is the easiest, apart from hurt fingers.
